The star is made of solid beech wood and is small enough to take anywhere: you can put it in your pocket!
First, prepare 7 coloured cords and knot them together. Then, pass this knot through the central hole of the star and leave the 7 cords taut in the slots. Since the star has 8 slots, there is always one left free. Now you need to take the cord that is three positions further to the left or further to the right into the free slot; choose what you want, but from here on, always go in the same direction.
Keep repeating the operation and you will get your bracelet, necklace or cord that you want to make. It's a great item for kids to enjoy and learn a new skill, seeing the results immediately.
It is soothing and relaxing and is enjoyed over and over again. It is incredible that such a tiny object produces so much!
The star is 8.5 cm in diameter and 0.5 cm thick and does not come with the coloured cords. We recommend it for kids aged 5 to 12.
